The fat drunk is up... That's very disrespectful. Please refer to the obese, drunken, Kopechne-killing Senator by his full title. Thank you.

Kay reminds Kennedy of the body of intelligence going back 12 years that Iraq was a gathering threat.
Kennedy stops him and says do you really think we went to war due to a gathering threat?
(Um, yes, Ted, it WAS...I can't help editorilizing when the dems are talking!)

Someone should tell His Drunkenness that the BBC claimed manipulated intelligence too - and their chief just stepped down with Blair being fully vindicated.

""[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." The physical size of a large stockpile of biological weapons would be extremely small. One could hide them in the desert and we might never find them.So true!

I hadn't heard it suggested that the administration suggested Kay stand down for now on the suggestion WMD went to Iraq.
I am not sure that's wise. Also, many of us remember Powell's speech before the UN last fall that said we suspected that WMD were being transferred to Syria at that very moment.

"I would like to ask the Senator how many people his drinking has harmed?" It would seem that the surest way in the world to live a very long life whilst indulging in all sorts of potentially debilitating behaviors and miraculously avoiding all illnesses and life-threatening accidents is to be a hard-core pain-in-the-arse Leftist. Note than none of them EVER seem to experience ANY accidents, diseases and such as would normally befall a random segment of society.
