""We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI),Sept. 19, 2002

Kennedy concludes that there was an effort to deliberately manipulate the intelligence in order to go to war.

Kennedy claiming a manipulation of the evidence, despite the fact that Kay said there was no pressure from the administration and he has been given ALL the intelligence reports available.

Kennedy quoting the "New Republic". I have to laugh.

I would like to ask the Senator how many people his drinking has harmed? Did you ever find your car?

You're right. The physical size of a large stockpile of biological weapons would be extremely small. One could hide them in the desert and we might never find them.

DIM MEMO looking for a trigger to get an independent investigation.

These lying liberals do not know all the "intel" President Bush has and that is the only way they can hope to keep it hidden before they can distort any exposure that liberals might have.

The want a full blown independent investigation to destroy President Bush through Cheney.

Someone needs to pass this note to the swimmer

Bill Clinton: December 16, 1998.
Good evening. Earlier today, I ordered America's armed
forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq.
They are joined by British forces.
Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and
biological weapons programs and its military capacity
to threaten its neighbors.

Good find.

Gee, can someone refresh my memory.....
what was going on in
December of 1998. /sarcasm

Talk about manipulating the evidence to fit your agenda.

I didn't know Kay was speaking today.

John Loftus was saying last night that Kay was told by the administration to play down the Syria angle right now, because they would be waiting until later in the campaign cycle to "reveal" the stuff went to Syria.

Loftus has been saying this consistently since last March: the stuff went to Syria, and the truth will come out.

Clinton needed intelligence that would support frequent Iraq bombings to keep domestic problems off the front page. He favored the most dire reports. Clinton was supported then and now by certain elements of the Bush Administration who also shared the goal of regime change in Iraq and thus kept the Clinton Era intelligence around as it suited their agenda.

They let there boss, Bush, down badly.

Kay: Reading all the reports and saying it would be hard to believe Iraq wasn't a gathering, serious threat.

Kennedy: Are those the words that took us to war?

Mine: YES THEY ARE THE WORDS. EACTLY THE WORDS.
