Warner is asking questions now.

Warner cautions that they still could be found (Kay agrees) so Warner says it may be a little too soon to say positively they aren't there.

I think that the most important thing about this is that we now know that it is possible to fool every damn intelligence agency in the world

Some might say that this wasn't a well-kept secret to begin with.

Yes but considering what the subject of this Senate hearing is about and the fact that I'm cubicle bound as well, I think all opinions should be welcome, not just those of the DEs

I've heard somewhere where it was stated " you don't hide WMD where you couldn't find it again." That's correct. You don't, I wouldn't, but the people we were dealing with would.

You just made my point: this isn't an OPINION THREAD; it's a LIVE THREAD, reporting what is being said.

But carry on, as I am sure you will.

So then give us an informed opinion, instead of more bloviation about dead enders or the U.S. allowing terrorists to attack us.

Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

Kay says the world is far safer with the removal of Saddam Hussein.

He repeats: They were far more dangerous than we thought
(he's been saying that in all of his interviews)

Levin up

Kay has not uncovered small stockpiles.

We didn't find the stockpiles, but evidence they could have produced.

We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a
tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region.
He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building
weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them."

This is hillarious, in a attempt to make Pres Bush look foolish all the dems are doing is expose their own previous statements.

He should've said WE were all wrong before the war, not they.

Trying to get Kay to bash Cheney.
