Great pic on the comp. It vividly illustrates why I won't have one on a carry gun. If I had to fire from a position of retention, that vertical blast would be right into my face and eyes! A point I've made to more than one comp-gun owner. Plus a compensated gun is much louder than an uncompensated gun. Visualize firing from inside your car at a carjacker, or inside an ATM vestibule. I'll tell you, I have never heard any weapon so LOUD as a .357 sig! Even with muffs AND plugs the gunshot is deafening. I mean shatteringly loud. Have you ever fired the Springfield Armory V-10? I'm considering purchasing a so called "micro" 45 and was wondering if this comp really does the job in holding down barrel jump given it's small size and putting aside for a moment the problems I mentioned before which can be overcome with practice. Well, except the noise. The V10 has a different comp system than many others. Much smaller ports. This might hold the report down some.
