Y'know, I am really starting to think the Sunni triangle is about get a big dose of war real soon... I hear we have some more Marines headed over there, perhaps they're going perform a little cleaning? I sure hope so.

KHALDIYAH, Iraq Three American soldiers and two Iraqi civilians were killed Tuesday in a double bombing west of Baghdad, witnesses said.
Witnesses spoke of two roadside bombs in the town of Khaldiyah, 50 miles west of Baghdad, and close to Fallujah. ...The witnesses said the first bomb hit a Humvee, and when more troops arrived at the scene to help, the second bomb went off, blasting another military vehicle.
"I saw more than three soldiers in the Humvee on fire," said Emad Abd Salah, 30, who suffered injuries to his hands. He said he saw the soldier riding atop the Humvee fall to the ground.
"The vehicle was lifted from the ground from the explosion," he said at the Ramadi Hospital. American troops fired randomly after the explosion "so I saw nothing," he said.

At least three U.S. soldiers were killed and one wounded when a roadside bomb exploded west of the Iraqi capital Tuesday, the U.S. military said. (Ali Jasim/Reuters)

Bombs are getting bigger, tactic very similar to that used in Israel and the territories. Smells like muslim terrorists involvement. They must be "testing" the newly in-country units to see what they can get away with. USMC can't get there soon enough - they know what to do, and will do it. We desperately need a Phoenix Program there.

We need to import some Kurds to do "special" police duties in the Sunni Triangle--staring with Fallujah.
All mosques in Fallujah should be closed until further notice and searched for weapons. If necessary, groups of families will need to be relocated to Shiite regions to break up the Sunni hold here.
This population will not face the fact that they are gone from power. Let's convince them otherwise and stop farting around.

Want today's pics? Too bad I needed both hands during the best stuff, so that went unrecorded.

I don't know, but I suspect that many of the enemy are Muslim terrorists who have come to Iraq from other countries to fight America on Iraqi soil.
I believe that those soldiers who died today gave their lives to keep the fight against terrorism away from the homes of their families and friends in America. I wish more people appreciated what our troops are doing for us.

I proposed it before and got severely flamed although noone could offer any reasonable alternative.
I would round em up, move em out, flatten it, start all over..
the whole gd-damned suni triangle area.

I wonder how much of this can be blamed on the Baathists now. The alternative is the imported terrorists. I don't see how much of a difference there could be between them in terms of know-how.
