Jim Baker will always be close to the top of the my list -- always did like the man. I sure wouldn't want to play poker with him either. He is the hero of 2000 IMHO!

It's a shame the GOP never ran him for president. He could do it all. There was never a job he couldn't do. However high they piled it, he sailed through it.

I am a huge Cheney fan but would have to agree with your statement on Baker. I would have voted for Baker for President in a heartbeat. In fact, I didn't think the first President Bush was going to seek reelection in 1992 and hoped that Baker would step forward to run.

Then I wanted him to run in 1996. You are talking to a big Jim Baker fan here!
