There are none so blind as those who REFUSE to see.

You know, this is a pretty comprehensive list; and one I haven't seen before. I've been pretty critical of the prez on this board...but I must say, all things considered; GWB's record is pretty impressive given all that has happened in the last 3 years, and coming off 8 years of Clinton. His record actually puts his dad's to shame. I will no longer claim that GWB is not conservative enough, I'll cut him slack on immigration, medicare, and spending with the hope that House and Senate Republicans will do their duty...if not now...then eventually. I also realize that 50+ years of liberalism takes time to reverse, one administration cannot turn the tide in 4 or 8 years. Let me also extend an apology to all the "bots" I've sparred with impolitely. While I still will not consider myself a "bot" I can admit when I'm wrong, and when I haven't seen the whole picture. And yes...I am being series.

Thanks for your comments! That is exactly what some of us have been trying to get across -- we believe that although we may not agree with the President 100% of the time, we believe he is far better then any Democrat and not even in the same category as his Dad.

This President is much more conservative IMO then his Dad. Do not believe you would ever get a Souter on the bench with this President. The Supreme Court nominee will be so vetted there will be no chance of another Souter.

Kudo's too you, and do not forget all that is happening, that cannot be told.

This President leads by deeds and action, not hollow words, a faux economy, and a kick the can down the road foreign policy. The Clinton adm. put many roadblocks in his way. He has never publicly said this, or laid blame. He has just picked up the load that was given to him, shouldered it, and set out to correct it.!

Re your #155, well stated and very fair-minded. I don't agree with the President 100% of the time. As a Southern Californian, I am against his immigration proposal. Just not too exercised over it because I know it's DOA in Congress. But George W.'s overall record in just three short, tumultuous years, is nothing short of superb.

Wow. I'm amazed, and I admire you very much for your fair-mindedness. Thank you for that! Ideally, we'd want everyone in America to be just like this.
