Considering that the Bush administration has been in office just three short years — and that they had the devastating 9/11/01 attacks and anthrax attacks occur just 7 1/2 months after the inauguration (thanks to the foreign policy negligence of Bill Clinton) — I think the Bush record is nothing short of wonderful.

Thank you both for your excellent work! And thanks to Southack for the original list!

I am going to direct people to this thread, and I am bookmarking it for reference in the months ahead. As President Bush says, "Good job!"

Southack compiled these sources earlier and from what I am reading, Wolfstar has now taken that informationn for this thread.

We have been reading so many negatives about President Bush and how he is not a conservative that this post is way past due if you ask me.

Cannot believe what I read over the weekend of some of the lies and half truths by some Freepers against the President not to mention namecalling. It didn't stop all weekend long with negative thread after negative thread. Now we have the media saying this loud group represents Conservatives. That is Bravo Sierra IMO -- I am a Conservative and they certainly do not represent me.

It was a pleasure to log on this morning to the computer and actually read something positive about the President.

Imagine how horrible it would be to have Kerry, Dean, or Edwards making the Supreme Court nominations...

It would take 50 years for America to recover.

Ordered Attorney General Ashcroft to formally notify the Supreme Court that the OFFICIAL U.S. government position on the 2nd Amendment is that it supports INDIVIDUAL rights to own firearms, and is NOT a Leftist-imagined "collective" right.

Speaks Volumes!!

Signed the workplace verification bill to prevent hiring of illegal aliens.

And this too. For those who criticize the Presidents stand on illegal aliens.

Over the weekend all we saw were negative posts and how Pres Bush was not a conservative. Guess a lot of the anti-Bush crowd missed the link you just put up -- thanks for posting that link.

Yes, awesome. It isn't widely known, but the President also issued an EO instructing the administration agencies with jurisdiction to do everything possible to expedite judicial nominations (selection process, background checks, etc.).

Thanks for the link to the other thread. This one is even better isn't it? (much to your dismay)

I've no objection to people taking their strongest ground in support of their positions or candidates. The list is good one.

I'm not looking for any fight here. Or to clutter this thread. Bot fights are useful but should be held, oh, every few months or so. I thought the previous thread adequately exhausted the subject for the time being.

Utter unanimity of opinion isn't healthy for any forum.

You didn't ask about bias, you asked whose "talking point" it is. I explained that there are over 100 points. Describing the President's record is not bias, it's truth for all to see — at least all who want to see. This is a record I'm proud to support.

Uh..WhiteHouse.gov. That makes it totally unbiased.

No disrespect or offense meant, but the NY Times (as an example) isn't exactly going to make Bush's accomplishments page #1, above the fold articles.
