- 79% agree and 67% strongly agree that the Federal government should strictly enforce present laws calling for heavy fines for employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants.
- 79% agree and 58% strongly agree that the Federal government should require all employers to verify U.S. citizenship or lawful presence for each job applicant by a telephone or online check to a central data base maintained by the U.S. government.

- 85% agree and 62% strongly agree that Congress should pass a law requiring state and local governments, and law enforcement agencies, to apprehend and turn over to the INS illegal immigrants with whom they come in contact.

On another note, there's a brilliant suggestion by a guy named Ed Rubinstein (on a site which is STRENG VERBOTEN on FR--can't even name or link it...sorry...) for a "supply side" solution to illegal immigration. As an alternative to deportation, TAX illegals discriminatorily and disproportionately. Tax their remittances to Mexico.
You subsidize something, you get more of it; you tax it, you get less. Right now, we subsidize illegal immigration. Let's tax the HELL out of it!

a) post the questions posed to the people they polled?
b) DO they detail the questions in the order actually asked?
c) ARE there any recordings of a typical poll-call?
WHAT I'm getting at is - was this conducted in the vein of a "push-poll"?
