Sunset is officially 5:58 CST per the weather report for Houston International Airport. I don't know how long after "sunset" it takes to reach the point where one can not discern a white thread from a black thread in natural light.

Yeah, in Saudi it was about 7:30...but it varies from about 6:30-8 p.m. local time over there depending on city...
