Can you calibrate radiation detectors?

Yes, they need to be calibrated. There was someone on this thread that posted where they can be sent. If they don't post that info back to you...I will find it.

I calibrate certain types of monitoring equipment at work, but I dont do it at home.

Too much expensive equipment required, and no where to store a radioactive source with a known value to meet ANSI standards.

I believe they can calibrate rad detectors at radmeters4u.com.

These are the guys I got my NukAlert from.
