Please do not ask me where I got this information, but I can vouch for its truthfulness. I was also subjected to massive attacks on my home PC as a result of being on that site. (One of the reasons for my "testiness" of late.) We are steping on some Rats tails and they are squealing, biting back, and then some as a result.
Here is what I know from a colleague in email yesterday and from another individual over the phone Saturday evening:
1) Do NOT open ANY message or post to that bbs.
2) They utilize Javascript and/or cookies that recognizes IP's.
If you want to maintain your system as it is stay away from that place! Just plain stay away!
I believe some of the prepetrators of this activity on CN&V2 are also present on Free Republic as well as the EOM and Daleel Yahoo Group. Yahoo email accounts were shut down, hacked and hijacked by this same and related activity. If moderators want this information please contact me privately. There is much more to this.

Yeah, me! I had major problems after going there. I just opened the page and a huge pop up window came up. I clicked it off and my McAfee came up and said I had a virus. I got rid of the thing as it was really only a trojan but a pain in the patooti no less! I deleted all the cookies from there, bookmarks and my cache of temporary files and don't have a problem. I won't be going back, it was turning into a smutty board anyway.

Sure are a few uptight folks here. I mean, if you aren't interested in a thread, move on. Very simple concept, really. Kinda humorous, in a sad sort of way, that they allow themselves to get so tweaked over one thread out of how many hundreds, per day! Must be some sort of control-freak mentality.

JP: Have you registered and logged in at IH? As far as I know, they still accept new users. LayoutGuru2, don't you access the alneda forum? Everyday there are new registrees at the site. I think they also get to view the alneda forum, as far as I know.
P.S. The message that you posted about the document not being on the server was a Free Republic message. Free Republic cannot transfer readers to IH if it is going to the restricted alneda forum. Alneda forum links will not work for anyone who is not duly registered.
