Alibek said Saddam's regime used camel pox in his small pox work. There was a '98 newsmax story on it but I couldn't access it...try a google on camelpox and it should be near the top.

Camel pox causes fever and skin rash in camels, but rarely affects humans. Little additional work was done on these toxins.

So I guess this isn't a concern. But why vaccinate a falcon for this then?
