Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for increased vigilance as this weekend approaches. I pray, most Merciful Father, that You would place a special hedge around these United States, for this would be a celebratory weekend, but there are those who would want to turn celebration into devastation. May none of any such plans succeed, not by merit of our own, but that we stand united under the Lordship of Christ for the protection of freedom loving people everywhere.
Refresh those who stand guard, for they have stood watch these many months ... give the greatest clarity in the exchanges of information among the nations, that it would be fruitful ... bring to light those still hidden in the shadows, that they could no longer plan or cause harm. Give such a hunger to people everywhere for freedom and liberty, that multitudes would join in the war against terrorism. Lead us to success, Creator God, that we not be overtaken by evil, but that we might overtake evil with good. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
