http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1069747/posts Pakistan scientist sold nuclear secrets to North Korea, Iran, Libya (he confessed)
"Dr AQ Khan, a Pakistan national hero for having led the country into the elite club of the nuclear-armed, has confessed to selling nuclear weapons technology to North Korea, Iran and Libya.
The confession is contained in a 12 page document signed by Dr Khan on Sunday, Dawn reports. It came after a series of intense, two hour "debriefing" sessions and ended several months of denials by the scientist that he was the principal culprit in the illegal technology transfers. "

Just found this statement by the NFL re: their disappointment about this, over on another thread about the half-time show.

(And why am I not surprised that this show was produced by MTV?)

I agree with you completely. I haven't watched Hollywood spew in ages. No sit-coms (what's funny about them?) or evening dramas. It's embarrassing garbage. We also email networks regularly to let them know why we don't watch. Problem is we don't know who the advertisers are since we don't watch and they are the ones that really need to get the emails. Just noticed on Bravo tonight (the new gay network) they are showing back to back "gay marriages".

I was thinking similar thoughts and odd how you come across things like someone is in your head and gives you a vehicle to show the solution This is what I came across:
Prayer to Saint Barbara
Keep away, the wicked, miserable who lurk in the shadows seeking to harm me..Generous protector, open your heart for the good people. Do not permit any interruption of my
Christian path, protect me and save me from all harm.

Since we live in NC, many people do not think that it could happen here.NC is the banking center of the country. Home of Bank of America and Lowes. At least as much of a target as Oklahoma City.

More on the chemical spill
Chemical spill prompts Ontario water plant closures
Last Updated Sun, 01 Feb 2004 22:05:01
SARNIA, ONT. - About 250,000 litres of toxic chemicals washed into a river in southern Ontario Sunday, forcing communities downstream to close their water intake valves.
The leak came from the Imperial Oil plant near Sarnia. The solvents, used to make oil lubricants, are also found in products like paint and nail polish.
As a precaution, communities along the St. Clair River near the spill were warned to close their water intakes until the river can be tested. The affected plants serve at least 35,000 customers.
Officials said drinking water from their taps remains safe, but they urged people to conserve water. Reservoirs in the communities will last about two days, which experts believe is more than enough time for the chemicals to disperse into harmless concentrations.
Ontario's Ministry of Environment is investigating the spill. Authorities in Michigan are keeping an eye on the quality of the water as well.
The St. Clair River flows into Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River and Lake Erie.
