TERROR PROBE: FOREIGNERS HELD IN BELFAST

Two foreign nationals have been arrested in Belfast as part of an international anti-terrorism investigation, police say.

The man and woman have been detained by the Police Service of Northern Ireland under terrorism legislation.

Police would give few details about the arrests, but the woman is believed to be a nurse working among overseas staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

A spokeswoman said: "The man and woman are both foreign nationals and are being questioned about serious crime as part of an international investigation."

Eid Mubarak does not refer to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. It's a standard greeting offering bood wishings and blessings on Eid. Kind of like saying Merry Christmas.

Most Arabic names have meanings and are in regular use as words as well as names, which makes translating a bit more difficult.

I ahvent' seen any specific threats directed towards Hosni Mubarak in quite some time. The Islamic groups reached some sort of cease fire with the Egyptian government a few years ago and they haven't been really after him for a while now.

Thinking more about this radiological device/explosion thing. I just can't see how they could get that past the airport security. Anything radiological should be picked up immediately. But, that was what Fox News reported. Although in the same report mentioned Ramadan incorrectly???

I hope that guy is refering to the slaughter and sacrafice of an animal in conjunction with the feast that begins at midnight tonight, and not about a human slaughter here tomorrow. I must say, I am a bit jumpy today. Everytime I hear an airplane my heart starts to beat a little faster.
