Sean, what's your take on this latest announcement about the BA (and possibly Air France) flights being canceled?
To: Sean Osborne Lomax
Weird, I had thought of that movie! I thought the clock originally expired at midnight 2-2?

The government asked people in Hollywood to "think outside the box" re terrorism and to come up with scenerios...to some extent I think that is what people are doing here - making what may 'seem' to be outlandish connections in an attempt to think outside the box and to make connections which may seem nutty but might not be...just my 2 cents. Like hijacking a couple of jets and flying them into two of the tallest buildings in the world, and killing thousands. Nah, could never happen.
BTW, Iron Eagle is alright in my book. His point is well taken. And there is a big difference between thinking and yes, admit it, speculating outside the box, and stating your opinions as fact based upon supersecret sources deep withing supersecret government agencies. Sometimes, the problem is not with what is said, but how it is presented, and presenting opinion as fact on the front page of the NY Times or CNN, or on this thread is misleading and inappropriate in my opinion.

Lots of underwear? They don't want to meet their 72 virgins with dirty drawers? LOL
They probably can't do this for fears of "racial profiling". Phhhffffttttt...

Sean - I don't remember what happens in the movie ID with Goldbloom's character and the clock.
I take it things went kablooey when the clock expired in the movie?

BTTT!
Physicians have ruled out severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and meningitis and were testing for a dozen other illnesses that can cause "flulike" symptoms, according to Buettner.
And his GF was from Japan, another story that will have no follow-up, particularly since he was stateside!
