Depends on a lot of variables, including wind direction, fallout deposit and the force of the blast. But with the type of weapons being discussed here, it wouldnt be a factor.

Something in the 20 MT range upwind may be however.

Frightening, but there's a lot of indications around that this is a hoax.

I saw the original story published on WND and was really concerned, as it all sounded SO plausible. But, I'm not sure if the "it's a hoax" is damage control, or the truth.

One of these is political scientist Joel Skousen who was Coast to Coast's guest last night. Skousen said, "No verifiable evidence has been produced that shows that Arabs were in charge of the strike." He also suggested that the last few presidents have been "script readers" who take their orders from a controlling set of individuals above them.

Well, that's pretty off the wall. Is he (I could be reading this wrong) implying that we (Bush, US gov.) staged 9/11 and have staged subsequent threats?

It is in my humble opinion a fact and that is what I posted here on this forum.

However, officially it is a denied rumor inside the beltway and in the print and news media.

This was denied by someone from the Department of State.

Let me ask you a question: With all due respect to the US State Department, since when, according to DC protocols, since when does State issue denials of Department of Defense operations in a time of war?????? Since when does Colin Powell's people SPEAK FOR Donald Rumsfelds people????

Since when does the Department of State issue denials of ANY activity conducted by the US Department of Defense?

I just know that something doesn't seem right.

It would not shock me If something catastrophic does take place soon.

Today I cleaned my food pantry and assessed the canned items needed to survive an event that closes stores or prevents us from going anywhere. Made a list of must have items and will purchase them this week

Just something to consider. We(people of the west) really only need to survive 3-4 days, 10 days max off the grid. Why just 10 days? If we really have a teotwawki event, there's simply no way we can prepare for months on end. Weeks, certainly...months/years? Heh. You show me a person prepared for a year without power and food and I will show you a guy with a gun to his head 2 weeks after he needs a year of power and food.
