That is too funny! It has to be a joke post, no? Remember the joke posting on one of the English boards from "usama" in which the poster said some bigmouth had lips "looser than a whore in Marakesh" or something very similar?!

The Mozilla is great; Netscape is the same as Internet Explorer, i.e., it offers some extra security settings but is not enough at all. You will still need good anti-virus software and a firewall is suggested. brucecw's excellent post at #1,884 spells everything out very nicely.

I suppose it could be, but I was expecting SOMETHING ya know. Not some measly little 'puter virus.
Though they do seem to be overly impressed with their abilities to cause disruption. Massive confusion, HA!

Thanks for the ping!

Be careful, molly162. I hope you have all the software and hardware you need to stay protected now.

Amen and thank you, thank you. Have friends who are going to that bowl game.

We don't know. They didn't say which way gold would go. Just that it would be a clue to the next attack.

I'm not sure, but if you bring up the webcam, people are running away, very very quickly!!!

Thanks for the link. Right now I see a fire truck and a couple of ambulances along w/ a few police cars.
Still not sure what caused the evac.

There are police vehicles parked all over the place, several with Trailers, bomb squad?
A few minutes ago people were running very very quickly away from the lower level.

That holds true for 'some' of the Yahoo Groups chat rooms too.

I just want to know if they are installing water fountains in the deserts yet. Are they? I swear, we really ARE that stupid of a country.

They didn't say which way gold would go. Just that it would be a clue to the next attack. If there are thought to be some traders who would have forwarning of an impending attack, they'd be trying to buy up gold (since all paper currencies would be risky with a major war or attack going on - nobody knowing what to expect, and with the possibility of a major economic meltdown). That would drive the price of gold up.
If the price of gold stayed the same or went down, that might not indicate that there was no attack - just that there weren't a significant number of traders who had foreknowledge of it. If the price dropped significantly, it might indicate that some traders had inside knowledge that an attack had been foiled.... again not an infallible indication.

Though, on second thought, I don't suppose I would walk casually away if the airport I was at was being evacuated, so I guess it really doesn't mean much...
The other thread is posting a suspicious package was found.
