I may be wrong on this, but it seems to me that all the planes that we suspect of being terrorist struck in that area, flew out of JFK.
Even JFK.JR, seems that I read it some where not too long ago.
Flight 800
Egypt Air
JFK.Jr
and there were a couple more on the list, than went down in the area, for no reason.

I have a relative who did contract work for the TSA...he quit because of the ineptitude.
Remember the blackout last summer?....He was in the baggage area at Detroit Metropolitan when the lights went out. He had his tool case with him. He was being escorted by a TSA guy.
He asked the TSA guy what the procedures were when there was a blackout.
TSA guy didn't know.
My relative then took out his big mag-lite, shined it towards the ceiling, and told everyone to be calm.
He then ordered all blondes between the ages of 25 and 40 to make thier way towards the flashlight....

I posted the following from Mansoor Ijaz re: pirated ships and people kidnapped to teach them diving............
Data compiled by Aegis Defence Services, a UK security consultancy, provides worrying evidence of this. In March, for example, pirates boarded a chemical tanker, the Dewi Madrim, near Sabah in the south Pacific for several hours. Their intention was not to ransom the crew or offload its cargo, as south-east Asia's pirates usually do, but simply to learn how to steer it at varying speeds. And in the past few months, 10 tugboats have been reported missing, each of which could be used for close-in manoeuvring of a disabled tanker, hijacked just before entering a big port (at Singapore, say) and just before being set ablaze.
Other dangers to maritime interests are also becoming apparent. In June, for example, an offshore maintenance engineer with deep-sea diving skills, who had been kidnapped in 2000, was released by Abu Sayyaf. He reported that his captors had wanted to learn how to dive, but were not interested in learning how to resurface.

It was so strange because they were in that area, in the helicoptor searching for a soldier who'd gone missing from a boat. They couldn't find him and then went down themselves, into the Tigres. No further word if they;ve been found. Last I heard about it, all 3 were still missing. It's awfully disturbing and I wish I knew more. This happen that same night after that creep posted his jihad message. If I wasn't so tired, I;d look up his message and post it and find the news article about our soldiers. Maybe tomorrow.

You beat me to that...who is that guy.
And isn't West Bloomfield predominantly Jewish?

JFK, Jr flew out of a small airport in NJ. At the time I knew the airport, but the brain is fuzzy tonight. It may have been Teterboro, but I have a feeling that it was an airport more northwest of Teterboro.
Flight 800 did fly out of JFK. I'l never forget that night. I was picking up my husband at Philadelphia airport and learned of the crash as I was sitting in the waiting area waiting for my husband to land.
I'm not familiar with where Egypt Air lands but there are many, many flights each day at both JFK and Newark (Liberty) airport, which is very near New York City.

What annoys me most is the cable news are almost 24/7 on the Democrap primaries. There is so much other than that going on to report. I was also wondering about those missing soldiers.

LOL. On that note, think I'll head for sleep. Goodnight all.

Ever since Flight 800 I have been skeptical of anything associated with the TSA.

Oh WOW. I'll hafta read this tomorrow.

The diving thing is worrisome considering all the tankers and cargo carriers in various ports, especially near New York City, and with respect to this coming weekend, and Texas.

So this goes along with the pics of the frogmen.

Well, this does not look cool. Shakir Al-Khafaji & Ritter?!
http://www.damianpenny.com/archived/000137.html One of those "Saddam friends" is Shakir al-Khafaji, an Iraqi-American businessman from Detroit. Since 1992, al-Khafaji has served as president of the regime-backed Expatriate Conferences, held in Baghdad every other year. The government provided subsidized travel for Iraqis living outside of the country.
On October 17, 1992, the official Iraqi News Agency reported on the activities of that year's session, "Our Roots Remain in Iraq Wherever We Are." Iraqi prime minister Muhammed Hamza al-Zubaydi spoke of the United States and its coalition partners in Operation Desert Storm as Iraq's "enemies" and "referred to the U.S.-led aggression, saying it meant to hamper the country's progress by trying to overthrow the government, destroying Iraq's infrastructure and harming its national and historical unity."
Al-Khafaji gained notoriety by giving Scott Ritter $400,000.00 to produce a "documentary" sympathetic to the Hussein regime. More ominously, he also sponsored three Democratic congressmen on a propaganda tour to Iraq last fall:

Thank you Granny! Nice attention to detail.
the reference to "stopping the wheel" certainly does lead one to think that it may be a car bomb, we know what kind of damage a car/truck bomb can do, look at OKC?
I personally think there was an AQ connection with OKC, coming from the Philippines, but that story is for another day.
