I could also have sent them to
this post by Jim, but what fun would that have been?
Actually, I didn't have that link until one of the AMs sent it my way. Thanks AM!

Thanks. I'm going back to read that page after dinner is cooked eaten and digested. Didn't want to get nervous/distracted and then go play with the cutlery and the veggies/meat.

God almighty, are we done thanking everyone yet?
(sorry, please continue expressions of gratitude)

Thanks, Rutles4Ever! Heh, heh...
Maybe we're just getting the social pleasantries out of the way before ramping it back up! <8^)

I learned something from this as well. I thought my comment at the top of the locked thread pretty much explained why I did what I did.
If this has to happen again, I'll post a reply to the thread in advance of taking action.

await a video tape that will give you an insight to our operations in Saudi arabia
we will be putting on the net very soon a new video tape that will show you the last operation in riyadh by video!!
the operation was called (bader al-riyadh)
the video tape will be in arabic so you will need people to help you understand the speaking in it.
this might give you some insight into our operations and with the help of people who understand arabic you will understand the why and the how of Al-Qaida some what more.
may god bless the mojahideen in the arabian gulf and the mojahideen in Iraq and in the US.

found this little blurb in an article a minute ago:
Hutchinson also said the Super Bowl has been designated a National Security Special Event, which means extra resources will be devoted to securing the event. Pilots already have been notified of temporary flight restrictions over the stadium.

I've been a sysadmin (mainframe business) forever and find lots of code that will lock file while only reading records - and bottleneck the system - if a specific no-lock command is not declared. Maybe in your control tables/blocks you can set it. Or you could ask your vendor to make sure the remove/change code never locks during a read, only during a delete/change.

re post no. 119 in which you said in part, "I am becoming increasingly anxious about what the remainder of this month may hold. Also, on one of Daleel's latest rants, he responds to a person who has been arguing with him on the IH site, that after the attack, the person will be blind. Maybe it is just my anxiety, but don't nuke detonations, as well as searing chemicals, cause blindness?"
===
OPINION: Someone should tell "daleel" that we may be blind, but he'll be dead, shot, or captured --- whichever comes first. Even if he's the real deal (ie low-grade AQ); he should understand that message. Simple Message to Terrorists and Wannabes: DON'T MESS WITH THE U.S.A.!
As for worrying, it doesn't accomplish anything. Don't worry, but do be concerned.
Most of the AQ/Jihadi/Islamist Extremist trash-talk is pure chicken manure. A small percentage of the internet "chatter" though is important to analyze and discuss.
So, put on those waders and keep looking is my motto.

That's very interesting! This al quada movement has been organized to the extent of period publications here in the USA. I wonder how long he had been publishing that magazine? I bet the feds know and they probably know who subscribed as well. And I wonder if any public funds went into this fiasco.
My guess is it started shortly after Clinton entered office.

CNET News.com ^ | January 26, 2004 | Robert Lemos New virus hitting in-boxes Last modified: January 26, 2004, 2:46 PM PST By Robert Lemos Staff Writer, CNET News.com update Antivirus firms on Monday warned of a new mass-mailing computer virus that has gained a foothold in a large number of PCs by masquerading as an e-mail error. The virus--known as MyDoom, Novarg and as a variant of the Mimail virus by different antivirus firms--arrives in an in-box with one of several different random subject lines such as "Mail Delivery System," "Test" or "Mail Transaction Failed." It still doesn't make it any easier for me to shut my computer down for nitey nite and leave this thread until morning, knowing I have a lot of catch up to do when I wake up. Its like withdrawal to pull away for any extended period of time. It was almost a panic attack to see the thread 1locked.
