This must be a mistake. Everyone knows there is no link between Al Qaeda and Iraq. Katie Colonic told us so.This doesn't really prove he had anything to do with Iraq before the war.

Are you one of those people that thinks terrorists and Baathists just bumped into each other in the middle of the Iraqi desert and were like, "Hey! I know I think you're an infidel, but what do you say? Let's team up!"...
Izzat Ibrahim Al-Douri and the Fedayeen had contacts with Al-Qaeda PRIOR to the invasion. It takes years to cultivate those kinds of relationships.
