Men shake hands, hug, bow, but men don't kiss each other on the lips in any Western or Far Eastern civilized culture, except the culture of the Castro district of San Francisco. Hollywood is sick in more ways than one and it shows!

"With Sharon Stone looking on and hoping to join in a menage a trois, Mikey and Danny begin their lovefest."
To: stevio
Didn't see it, but with a Sharon Stone behind them, I'm guessing Mike Douglas asked, "How about a kiss for old times' sake," and the surprise (to the feeble-minded) was that he kissed Mini-Moore instead of Stone. Ta know, like the Old "Mind if I cut in?" Joke.
But you know what really, really pisses me off about Douglas?...

Douglas: "Could've been worse. Could've been Dowd."
To: stevio
Was this a joke?
No kidding. It is a silly (and quite funny) parody of the Madonna/Britney kiss.

Men never kiss each other on the lips Maybe not in America, but in a lot of countries, it's a perfectly acceptable greeting.

Queer eye for the gay guy? "I'll hold your globe if you'll hold mine" ROFLMAO These "awards" shows are nothing more than an extravagant exercise in narcissism. And they actually think that anyone cares what their opinions are on foreign affairs and national security? If these actors had an original thought in their head they'd pull a muscle. What a pathetic bunch of egomaniacs...They should stick to doing what they do best...memorizing other peoples words and leave foreign affairs and national security to the professionls. OK, I have now added "Refuse invitation to okkev68's Super Bowl party" to my list of things to do.
To: Hildy
I've seen Michael kiss his father, Kirk, on the mouth. Must be a standard greeting among those folks.

Sharon has had some major work done. One of the reasons I like to watch this stuff is to see the latest cosmetic changes in men and women. I didn't recognize Jessica Lange until I saw her name printed on screen; and one of the award winners (an Italian guy from Betsey's Wedding years ago, now starring in a series) whose head was so full of botox that is shined like a headlight.

Why are you men such idiots. We're not talking about a normal greeting. DeVito just got through giving Michael a lifetime achievement award that was very moving. He wasn't greeting him at the door. I give up with you people.
