Another Military Monday and more comrades to honor.

In memory of my fellow Vietnam helicopter pilots who were killed in that war the following pilot was lost on JAN 26. God bless them all.

1969 CPT Gary D. Humphries (USAR) -- D/229 AHB 1 CAV, Age 24, Married, San Pablo, California
1969 1LT John F. Meyer (USMCR) -- HMM-364, Age 26, Single, Le Sueur, Minnesota
1969 1LT David W. Sterling (USMCR) -- HMM-364, Age 24, Married, Gladwin, Michigan

This memorial for CPT Humphries is taken from "The Wall" website. It was posted a little over 4 years ago:

Rusty Humphries, Son of Gary Humphries, honors all Veterans Nov 12, 1999
Reno radio personality Rusty Humphries, son of Captain Gary Humphries, held a free concert on November 12, 1999,in Reno NV, to honor all veterans. There were over 3000 veterans and family members in attendance. Rusty has honored veterans because he knows the sacrifice his father made to our freedom. Thank you Captain Humphries for your sacrifice and for giving all veterans a fine son.
