January 26, 2004 -- THE commission probing the 9/11 attacks won't like what it hears today.

A chief witness will be Chief of Consular Affairs Maura Harty, the woman in charge of the State Department's processing of visas. She'll undoubtedly be grilled on how several hijackers got visas despite plainly dubious applications. And she may have to explain the program "Visa Express," which let all Saudi residents apply for visas at private Saudi travel agencies - until Congress made State stop it, 10 months after 9/11.

How many of these State Dept. "Americans" receive
-- or anticipate receiving --
retirement pensions and $$$ from the
House of Saud for betraying America.

The United States State Department has no business trying to make an economic case to weaken American security. Americans have learned how the Saudi's are a double-dealing bunch of back-stabbers funding terrorism. If the U.S. never sees another penny from Saudi Arabian blood money and simply keeps its wacko Islamic radicals out of here, our country will be much better for it.

This is yet another example of the State Department being the enemy of the peace and security of the American people.

I have many times shouted the following question in my public speeches regarding 9/11/01: "Who let these killers into our country?"

The answer is: The U.S. State Department.

The document's opening sentence sets the tone: "According to conservative Embassy estimates, the U.S. economy has lost over $2.7 billion since Sept. 11, 2001, as a result of reduced Saudi expenditures on U.S. goods and services." How'd they get that number? " 'Back of the envelope' calculations," the cable admits, along with "anecdotal evidence" from such authoritative sources as "one former Commerce department official" and "one tourism industry representative from the Orlando area."

Kewl. The Statist Department is now risking our lives for some vague math someone did on the back of a napkin during Happy Hour...

As far as I'm concerned a lot of these "Staties" get paid off one way or another by the Saudis.
