I hate to sound like a dope, but is this going to be on cable? We ditched network tv about three years ago.

Thanks!

Jeepers. I've only seen two movies, LOTR, and Master & Commander, and one TV show, Monk. LOTR should win something.

Golden Globes: a bunch of overpaid, egotistical lefties pat each other on the back for doing a good job of pretending to be other people.

I'd rather get ahead on my homework.

Thanks! I think we have an affiliate, I'll check to make sure.

I'll probably end up watching "Malcolm in the Middle" with the kids.

LOTR should win something.

LOTR should win EVERYTHING! Big of them to nominate it for best picture and Jackson for director, and nothing else of substance, even screenplay!

Not to diss LOTR, which I thought was magnificent, but I'd say these things are about as indicative of good work as is a Nobel Peace prize.

LOL! Thankfully I don't have any female friends I hang out with at present. Although this does mean fewer home-cooked meals and assisted "hook-ups," it does mean I don't have to sit around for hours watching award shows and listening to utterly mystifying commentary about shoes. (I could never see the slightest difference between the "god-awful" and the "adorable" pumps. In fact I'm not entirely clear to this day on what exactly a "pump" is.)

I guess Freepers really LIKE the Hollywood Liberals. Look at this thread! Filled with admiring Republicans who can wait to see America's scum get an award.

The same folks that want to know what purse Martha Stewart will carry into court on Monday.

Consistency is not one of the main attributes here on the Free Republic,,,,
