MELBOURNE, Australia, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- A mysterious photo has sparked a UFO frenzy in north Melbourne, Australia.
Roland Rozario, a council officer, was doing a routine survey of a railway level crossing with a colleague last week, taking 10 or 12 photos, reports the Melbourne Herald Sun.

Are you saying there is a whole fleet of UFOs in this picture? A mother ship on the left and a smaller scout ship on the right?

I think it depends on taste.
I still think the photo one looks more real.

I can't decide what's funnier: the intentionally funny posts or the oh-so-sincere humourless (or humorless) explanations! Sincerity! If you can fake it, you've got it made!

Yes, my brother went there a couple of years ago and told me that not only did they drive on the wrong side of the road but that all of their SUVs had snorkels sticking out of the hoods!

I suppose there's no other explanation for what you pointed out? None whatsoever.

We only get 365 days in our year, yet the Martians get 670 in theirs. That's not fair. We need affirmative action on Earth so we don't have to suffer the lasting effects of this past discrimination. I say equal days for equal planets!

I was a Baghdad cam watcher and I viewed a flying object that I could not ID. The Iraqi AAA gunners shot at it.
There was a FR live cam thread where it was discussed during the war..

The first and larger UFO on the left is obviously a fake. There's a definite box around it and it's all blurry.and it's got a telephone pole attached in the front....it's a fake.

Cruise missile. I don't think so. This thing hung around for many minutes, flew in a circular pattern, and was lit up like a Xmas tree.

Australian UFO Research Network director George Simpson said a digital photograph was not considered acceptable evidence of a flying saucer. "They cannot be verified. They are too easily manipulated on the computer and you don't have a negative."Did anyone notice this? Coupled with the phasing out of film cameras the general population will become divested of the means to take photographic evidence. With increasing "photoshop" abilities no digital picture will ever be acceptable as true.
