Rush Limbaugh is guilty of having become addicted to prescription pills and illegally obtaining them. He's admitted this.
There is nothing wrong with his lawyers saying hyopothetically, how about in exchange for not prosecuting we agree that Rush Limbaugh will stay in treatment for 2 years (or something similar).
That's what they're talking about re: a plea agreement. Get it now?

It's to head off a charge; thank you for finally saying that Rush is guilty of SOMETHING.
I don't think he has admitted obtaining them illegally.
Something has been bothering me about this thing with Rush. IMHO, Rush will never get a fair trial anywhere in America, except maybe his home town, even that may be questionable. So what does this State Attorney hope to achieve by wasting an incredible amount of The People's Tax Revenue on persecuting Rush, who hasn't any previous record of criminal activity whatsoever and in a state where no one to date has ever had this sort of scrutiny for such a minor offense.
I mean it's not like Rush is a menance to society, unless they think his conservatism is. If that is the case then they had better put us all on trial with him for being his loyal listening audience.
