Noticed they resorted to name calling once again on a thread. When nothing else works we get labeled as Bushbots -- no chance for reasonable disagreement -- better to paint a broad brush and label us all.
The tendency on here by some people to believe the worst about President Bush without any facts is amazing. Surprised we are not getting the typical, "I voted for George Bush in 2000, but . . ." response but then I haven't read every post either.
Personally, I am not sitting back and staying quiet any longer as these people go thread to thread with their negatives on the President without basis in fact. After that RAT debate last night and following the Howard Dean blog after the Iowa Caucus, I will spend every spare minute supporting this President.
BTW, the Dean Blog following the debate sounded strangely familiar -- "I am voting 3rd Party or for Pres Bush if they nominate anyone but Dean." Must be something catching!

"....believe the worst about President Bush without any facts..." Have you been following this thread, or did you just jump in here feeling the need to defend Bush? Here are just a few of the facts:
- Did Bush propose offering amnesty to illegal aliens instead of looking for a solution that will not incourage even more millions of them to flood the country?
- Did Bush sign the campaign finance reform bill even though he thought it was unconstitutional?
- Has Bush curbed the wild spending spee one single bit?
- Did Bush just support a drugs for seniors plan that will saddle our children and their children with an even bigger boon-doggle than social security?
- Did Bush support the Farm bill that contained so much pork that it "oinked"?
- and speaking of pork, is Bush allowing all sorts of pork to pass conceled as Homeland security measures?
- Does Bush still attend the annual Bohemian Grove meetings and if so how does he justify this with his "Christian" beliefs?
There is no doubt that Bush has performed well in the face of terrorizm and the aftermath of 9-11. I thank God everyday that we had a President strong enough to stand up to this threat the way he has. I also have no doubt that we MUST re-elect him in '04. And I have praised him as often as not.
However I am not ready to roll over and play dead on so many important issues just for the sake of "keep quiet or we may end up with a Democratic President".
