Holy Father,
Your Son, Jesus Christ, bore our sins and our diseases for us on the cross. Your child, uprisen, needs the full reality of that healing in her body. In the Name of Jesus, let Your Spirit touch her spirit so that she knows that she is healed, that You are with her, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. Grant her overwhelming peace. Keep her family calm and confident in You as they wait for all symptoms of infirmity to depart and health to shine forth. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Great Physician, Amen.

I join in prayers for your friend. Know that the mother of a friend just had this surgery done, age 83. Three months later she is participating in TaiChi classes. Some of this surgeries can be done today without invasive procedures. Blessings.

Thank you so much for your prayers. Bootless has asked prayer on my behalf on several occasions during this long spell of mis-diagnosis and waiting. The injury occurred on August 8th, 2003. Yet Kaiser not only mis-diagnosed this - they subsequently re-broke what had been healing during a visit back in October. In Novemeber, they finally concluded that my hip socket was broken in 4 pieces. The largest fragment is displaced 2" backward, and twisted as well. This makes it impossible to sit, even nearly 6 motnhs later. Walking much more than around the house causes swelling which cuts off the circulation to my leg. Between the break, and the drugs that are used to keep the pain and swelling down, I find myself able to do very little. This is very hard to admit for an extremely active 43 year old type A woman. A good surgeon has been found, and it appears that I will have the socket re-broken and then reconstructed on Valentine's Day. I pray that God will allow a full recovery, and that I can return to work before summer arrives.
Your prayers are invaluable - thank you so much!

having the surgery will be such a relief for you...can't imagine the pain you have had to suffer all these months. Will keep you in my prayers and do up-date us now and then. At your young age, you will recover beautifully and you will be again active and pain-free. Blessings.
