Correct. The decision to stop the recount was 7-2. And it has been proven that the court is 4 conservative, 4 liberal, and one centrist/liberl.

Yes, this cannot be underemphasized. The media and liberals like to talk about 5-4, but that was the split on the "remedy" for the problem after the 7-2 vote. The 7-2 count was the more significant number and one the media has tried to bury every since it came down. Read Bill Sammon on this for a concise explanation.
