I have yet to be presented a reasonable arguement as to why I should not be upset with the policies that I disagree with.

All I ever hear is, "it could be worse and if it is it'll be your fault".

Total playground BS.

I refuse be afraid of what might happen but I can sure as hell be concerned about what I feel will continue to happen if we don't say something now.

Did anyone on this entire thread say that they were not upset with any of President Bush's policies??

The point is that he has done MANY conservative things (spelled out repeatedly).

Stop making things up.

I noticed that to. They do not try to refute the argument that Bush is a rino. They just say that if we do not support him we will get a dem. But the way things are going will we be able to tell the difference?

You forgot "Go back to DU" and "Whadduya think things would be like if Al Gore was president"

Total playground BS.

Couldn't agree more. Ironic too, since the adults are in charge now.

I won't be afraid either...in fact...it pretty much pisses me off. It also makes me wonder if most of the cheerleading crowd are former democrats-current neo-cons, who will be retiring(or will be retired <8 years), who could really give a damn about the real future of this country. a.k.a the "I got mine mentality"

How about because the issue of illegal immigrants is finally being heard by the President. This wouldn't even be a hot topic if Bush had said nothing and continued allowing foreigner to illegally work here.

>>Total playground BS. <<

I agree with you. It is disappointing to me to see the ad hominem attacks against people who criticize certain policies of the President, and give legitimate reasons for doing so. They (we) are called liberals, potheads, Bush-haters, Bush-bashers, etc.

It is not just disappointing that this is happening, because it will always happen on a forum.

It is diappointing to me to see the posters I recognize and respect doing it. It is so invalid and disrespectful.

I may get bashed myself for even posting this. But I really don't care.
