Party politics never overrule principle

The whole point of this posted article on the SOTU is that Bush's basic principles are conservative. How dense are you people?

What he said may have been conservative but what he has done on the domestic side has not been. He is a rino.

I don't know, I was just responding to your statement found here

Voting third party at a time of war, both at home and abroad, when the only real choices are a moderately conservative (or conservatively moderate) incumbent, and the incarnation of evil in our society, is lunacy.

with a quote from George Washington and what parties would, and have, done to this nation of states. Did I get a response? Of course not!! I was called 'dense'.

And I cant really see how statements from his speech show beyond doubt that his principles are conservative. I don't see how the latest handout announced, no downpayments of FHA loans and more money to community colleges, are necessarily conservative. Rather it's something I would have expected from LBJ or Jimmy Carter
