You need to re-read before you post. I never addressed the popularity polls. I reject the claim that 91% of Republicans support his policies as a BLANKET STATEMENT. It's a fairy tale until someone can prove it, and so far, no one has come close.

His post was very clear that 91% approved of Bush.

Unless you were engaging in a pathetic bit of sophistry, what do you think the approval ratings are for? It is a blanket question for a measure of support - do you approve (sanction, endorse, accept, support) of the job he is doing? That includes his policies. That article even broke down some of the policies individually - ranging from 60's to the high 80's on individual issues. But 91% supported him OVERALL.

Guess what - it doesn't mean that 91% agree with ALL of his policies. That sort of thing only exists in the dim recesses of your mind.
