If people stay at home and don't vote, they didn't put Democrats in office.
And to answer the very simple question that others didn't bother to answer (because it is obvious, and inane), not voting for Republicans sends them a message that people want their goals met, not just talked about and taken for granted. Therefore when they lose, they will change in the next election, and then THE PEOPLE HAVE A CHANCE TO HAVE THEIR GOALS MET, which of course they have no chance of now with the Republicrats.
So much for "none of them".
You cannot possibly be that unknowlegable about the way this works.
Heck, one of the prime reason I go to the polls to vote is to cancel out my father-in-law's vote.
If you stay home -- and you KNOW that the Democrats take voters to the polls by the droves -- then yes, you ARE putting Democrats in office.
And you don't even have the excuse that the stupidest person in the country has, the ones that don't vote; you KNOW better, so you are doing it on purpose.
If you stay home, and not vote for the candidate who is closest to your ideals, you are voting for the opposition.
Besides that, IMO, you are a lousy American for giving up your hard-earned by the blood of our forebearers right to vote.
Anyone who stays home on election day, IMO, doesn't give a rip about this country.
But that's just my opinion, of course........
