And one more thing, if Cuomo had had his way, there would have been many, many more deaths, not to mention CHILDREN in PRISON, untold numbers of people yet to be tortured, for DECADES TO COME!!!!

Do you remember President Bush, before he took office, referring to the downturn in the economy? Clinton went mad, yelling about what it would do to consumer confidence and all of his minions lined up and agreed. Yet now these same minions come out, knowing full well that the only thing that can hurt us in Iraq is the loss of resolve, to try to break our collective will. I really think it's detestable and not one of us should forget.

Mario Cuomo, former New York governor, has a forthcoming book looking on how Lincoln might address the issues of today. As Cuomo sees it, the Constitution did not set that high a standard, but Lincoln raised the bar and presidents of both parties have continued to do so in one way or another.
``We are still what Lincoln called an unfinished work,'' he said in an interview. And each election is about moving closer to ``that more noble view of ourselves.''

Whatta maroon.I'm sorry, but what he said here was not stupid. It was incredibly vicious and the implications are staggering.
Of course this is the outgrowth of the dem smear that "Bush Knew" yet did not prevent the attacks of 9/11.
These are scurrilous and sickening charges that require more than a dismissive wave of the hand. There is an audience out there that eats this stuff up. Cuomo is beneath contempt.

Cuomo went on a rant during the last presidential campaign. Damned Dubya for speaking spanish, just because he has a mexican wife........he had confused Jeb's Colomba with Laura.....and of course, no difference at all between Cuba and Mexico as far as Cuomo is concerned.
Cuomo is notoriously bad tempered, evil, and mean spirited.

You know, we may not like it, and we may disagree, but this is what the Dems are saying, and there are a lot of people out there who believe this stuff.

The way I see it, the people who would "eat this up", were never going to vote for Bush anyway. The "my daddy used to work with Bin Laden's brother's cousin's uncle, so I'll give ol' Osama a break", accusation won't fly with anyone with an ounce of sense.

Loser: (n.) -- A life-long professional politician who loses a statewide race to a dopey, third-rate jackass like George Pataki.

I wonder what he thought of Clinton's relationship with the Riady's?

It was posted on this earlier thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1062324/posts Jay Leno.... Good news for Howard Deans wife; it looks like shes going to get the privacy she wanted. .... Did you see that speech Howard Dean gave last night? I heard that the cows in Iowa are now afraid of getting mad dean disease. Im not an expert in politics, but i think its a bad sign when your speech ends with your aides shooting you with a tranquilizer gun. .... I tell you something fascinating -- John Kerrys victory over Howard Dean has completely changed the presidential race around. Now instead of the rich white guy from Yale who lives in the White House facing off against the rich white guy from Yale who lives in Vermont, he may have to face the rich white guy from Yale who lives in Massachusetts. Its a whole different game. .... John Kerry said in his speech last night that this is the beginning of the end of the Bush administration. I agree, hey, it might take 5 years, but it will be the end of the Bush administration. .... Of course the big surprise -- John Edwards came in second. Edwards was quite eloquent. He said, "We have two Americans, one for the rich, one for the poor. Two countries with two tax systems, two school systems and two medical systems." Today President Bush said, "Why dont you become president of the crappy one?" .... Dick Gephardt dropped out of the presidential race today. He said apparently the country isnt ready for a really, really white president. .... Senator Joe Lieberman skipped Iowa and is devoting all his energies on losing in New Hampshire. .... How about Dennis Kucinich? He finished behind Martha Stewart.
