Oh yeah, I had to laugh at your post for another reason. Other than ephedrine, I would say Creatine is just about the only other "sports supplement" that actually does anything. Don't take that myself either, but if someone were to ask what works and what doesn't, I'd put my money on Creatine and Ephedrine. The first is harmless, the second can be dangerous in exceptionally rare circumstances. For me, the first is out b/c I don't feel I need it. The second just makes me uncomfortable (have used it in the past) and I don't personally like it. Nevertheless, both work (the few that do) and I really don't care for the government making decisions my decisions for me - whether it is the right decision or not.

The players are now under notice that if they strike over drug testing then President Bush may intervene. He loves the game and what it stands for and is not going to idly stand by and see it destroyed. Um, I was kidding. However you're actually serious and believe an executive should be sticking his face in private matters such as this. Which leads me to believe we might actually wind up with a "Department of Major League Baseball Abuse of Substance and Steroids"
DMBASS for short.

Bush urges end of steroid use in pro sports How about urging the Rangers to acquire some decent pitching instead? .....even if it requires trading the quarter billion dollar man to do it.

How about Creatine? Another highly-touted, extremely expensive waste of money. For people with the right body chemistry, creatine works. Never taken it myself, but I've seen the results firsthand and there's no denying it.

Just part of the expansion of Medicare and amnesty for illegals.
What amnesty? He's even said it's not amnesty.

I hope for your sake that your nick is a metaphor.
I used to favor Archie Bunker on Hemroids. :)

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, according to the current occupant of the white house it must be a moose with a little cheese.
