I liked when he started ticking off the list of countries involved in Liberating and then rebuilding Iraq...
...then he got interrupted by applause...
...the applause ends and he goes back to listing more countries...hahaha...
Good stuff.

what the heck was the name of that movie? thanks for the pic... IIRC, the line is from a Bogart film called "Treasure of the Sierra Madre".
The pic that Texas Eagle posted is from "Blazing Saddles" which used the line to great comedic effect when Hedley Lamaar (seated) was handing out badges for the assault on Rock Ridge.

The only problem is that Dean is already under water.
He should contact Senator Kennedy, the man has experience with people underwater.

That line got a standing ovation in my house. Sometimes Bush has an economy with words. (LOL) But this time, I first thought of the leftist, commie-pinko, liberals of the Democrat party, and then I thought about the leftist, commie-pinko, liberals of the rest of the world. You gotta love that.

Did anybody notice how the dems were in a "damned if they do and damned if they don't" conundrum when it came to the applause lines... they looked bad to the Nation if they didn't clap, and they looked bad to the elitist leftists here and abroad if they did... what delicious irony...My favorite parts are always when the Democrats sit on their hands when a Republican President is talking about cutting taxes. That sends a very deep message to the minds of intelligent Americans.

As a matter of fact, since I'm going way off topic, I'll throw this in.
Here is the complete history of every usage of this very popular throw away line.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...

"Indeed was the most powerful and notable quote of the entire speech."After he said it the speech could have ended in my opinion. At that point all that needed to be said was.
P.S. You would never have heard that statement from Carter or Clinton. And you won't hear it from the current crop of Democrat turncoats. Food for thought.

Nobody in the WH is trying to sink the Dean campaign, you can be sure.

Wonder what all of the lefties who whined that "America attacked a soverign nation!" will say to this (yeah I know that they are just pretending that they care about soverignty).

F*****g Kerry was lucky that he was not fragged during his "WAR CRIMINALS" near riots in the days after he returned to the USA to mock and insult our men still in harm's way.
I knew men who took care of business In Country and carried grudges back to The World. Kerry was F*****g lucky.
Nam changed a lot of men. Kerry survived his betraying good men while he openly gave aid and comfort to the enemy holding and torturing our POWS. Another unprosecuted treason. Hanoi Kerry married money and then married a lot of money. His talk of G.I.s as war criminals passed as he lusted for political power bought with his new access to big money, demonstrably easy in Mass.
I wonder if Kerry was a lying, double speaking, political hack before he ran for office. Why is it that F*****g Kerry survived his own unit? Maybe it was his French.

Dean loves permission slips... here's the one his storm troopers fill in to donate to his campaign.
