Nancy Pelosi and Tom Dashle are responding. Pelosi is reading verbatim from her script. Looks like a teleprompter. She lost her place and looked foolish.

I recommend Pelosi for one of the drug intervention programs - she can't be that stupid! She said that the Democraps look to the members of our military for leadership! After the Democraps showed complete hatred and lack of support for the 8 years of the presidential duo of Billy and Hitlery Clintoooooooon!

The dems lies might have been effective before the internet became a MAJOR source of news.
The lies are exposed immediately and then revealed on talk radio all across the country by conservative talk show hosts.

Just for the record the Zotted Troll did say 500 not 5000. I don't believe in outright misrepresentations like the democraps do. I was trying to imply that he/she/it would have a hard time counting to 500 in a little under an hour, not that bush was incapable of almost 50 mistakes per minute in a little under an hour. FWIW though I know the guy/gal/whatever was just pulling some number out of their A$$ from the very beginning.

I don't blame them. When the gloomy Dems came on I switched the channel over to what I thought was John Edwards speaking, but I was wrong. It was only Andy Griffin.

I think Daschle screwed up during the second sentence of his speech. Tell me if I am right.
Daschle said something like "You heard the President say in his speech that he wants to spend money on exploration."
I do not recall Bush mentioning exploration. Anyone?
To: netmilsmom
I must admit my surprise tonight. The Nancy Pelosi quotation was accurate.
Out of context, but accurate.

. . . and dear old dead dad is still "The Great Leader." He's also nominally still the head of state even though he's assumed room temperature. See a hilarious article by a Polish diplomat in National Review that describes how this works.

Good observation.
Here is the quote from tommy 'jumping the gun' dasshole-
"The president spoke of great goals, and America should never hesitate to push the boundaries of exploration. But neither should we shrink from the great goal of creating a more perfect union here at home."

One trick I have is to take a pair of Vice Grips and grab my testicles with them. Every time Pelosi or Daschle said anything, I squeezed on the pliers.
Hmmm!
In comparison to watching the Pelosi/Daschle tag team, anything is a relief.
To: Hunble
"My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." If i remember right, this was the second part to JFK's famous quote at his inaggural speech (sp?)... So in fairness I don't think she misquoted JFK....
but that's beside the obvious... They were trying to scare americans, especially with Daschole's I know a woman who was dieing but Bush killed her. :)
