What I'd like to hear him say:
"My fellow Americans, it has been said that it takes a big man to admit that he is wrong, and tonight, I intend to show you that I am indeed a big man. Accordingly, I am calling on Congress to do the following:
1. Repeal the Campaign Finance Reform Law that I should have vetoed in the first place.
2. Repeal the Medicare Reform Bill that spends Trillions of dollars with little benefit to the American people.
3. Let the sun set on the so-called Assualt Weapons Bill.
4. Ignore my request for legislation to allow "guest workers" legally work in this country."

I'll agree with that SCR. This SOTU speech will be interesting. After Bush's last "plan" was revealed, many are no longer in a good mood.

"...America is on the offensive against the terrorists..." "As part of the offensive against terror, we are also confronting the regimes that harbor and support terrorists, and could supply them with nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons
"
5. Pursue regime change in Saudi Arabia, the Number One supporter and financer of anti-American, anti-Israel, and anti-Western terrorism in the world.

Good choices; good also ask to sunset the ban on high-cap magazines.
Better yet, ignore both those bad laws, and let them fade quietly into the sunset.

I'd hope for those things myself, but I am far to busy fawning over him because he has an (R) by his name.
