ATI "All-in-Wonder"? I've never heard of that. Sounds pretty cool. Will that work on an old First Edition Windows 98 PC? ;-)

Stay away from any TV card product made by Pinnacle. They suck. The ATI All-in-Wonder is a TV tuner integrated with a video card. If you have a decent video card already, you can just get their TV card for well under $100. Should not be a problem on an old machine, but you will probably have trouble capturing video without dropping frames. Single frame captures should work OK. Live TV on the computer screen is great!!

It would depend on your pc. If you have generic, ATI could work. I tried it but it wouldn't work with my Micro motherboard with built-in 'video card'. I tried another, Kingworld pcTV, and it worked after I did a clean Windows install. My Kingworld pcTV card was $45.00 from Tigerdirect.com.

I use SnagIt to capture tv pix and send them directly to my ISP website for FR link posting.

ATI is the gold standard of tv cards. I'm sorry you didn't have very good luck with your card, but it sounds like a bad river. I've captured hundreds of thousands, or millions, of frames with no problems whatsoever. All the frames I wanted burned to DVD play just fine.

ATI is the best there is.

Thanks for that info about the TV card! I'll look into it soon.
