You're right, of course.

Boy, the 'be careful what you wish for' side of me would enjoy seeing a democrat elected, and letting the people get what they deserved 'good and hard'. But the bigger part of me knows that 'good and hard' this time means a couple of leveled American Cities, the shelving of the Constitution, and the establishment of Martial Law.

So, while I don't agree w/all of President Bush's decisions, I do understand the nature of any polity and no matter who is elected, there ain't no easy way out. Concessions will be made, that's a sure bet!

It's a dangerous time to elect a lib/dem - either by staying home or wasting a vote. But, alas, there are those who will do just that because of their pet issue.

No one here claims that this president is the ultimate conservative. (Hey, some of us disagreed with things Reagan did, but still voted for him....twice.) But given the options, I'll take him in a heartbeat.
