If they want to "get married" they can do so but they cannot take advantage of benefits that accrue.

My argument is that no one should get benefits because they walk down the aisle with someone else, no matter homo or hetero.

Why should I be denied tax breaks, etc, because I choose to remain a single male with no children (and not creating any out of wedlock children)?

In theory you are right...Any able bodied person shoud be carry his own weight without government getting in the business of social engineering.

However, in the real world hetero couples who bear the cost of raising the next generation should get every tax break there is.

You obviously have NOT heard of the marriage penalty!!!! YOU ARE THE ONE GETTING THE BREAK!
