If you are trying to pick a fight with Tex, try one with the moderator. I think there, you would achieve the negative result you need so desperately to feel noticed....

These Democrats whine and moan about loved ones not getting proper care, as if they themselves are too poor!

Normally I would wear 2 hearing aids, and one of them quit working on me after 10 years of use and I can't afford a new one, so I hear only as half as good as I used to.

I wish more people saw Tancredo’s appearance on TV.
He is needed and more effective where he is now.

I'd love for womeone to ask her how much it would cost to open every container that comes into the country.

Don't have to open them. We have the xray technology to do it, had it since the late 80's. It was voted down by a congressional committee in 1990 in secret, when it was first proposed. Technology is still around and being used. Entire cost can be covered by a container inspection fee, partially offset by less time required to get the containers through the port. Course, now we have to worry about inspecting them offshore to prevent the wmds from getting offloaded AT the port.

Listened to NPR on the way home and Terry McAuliffe said something about "While 3M Americans have lost their jobs and are wondering how to pay for health care, they don't want to hear about steroid use in high schools." Is there a transcript of the SotU? I need to find this high school steroid reference.

Hey I've got a good idea.

Let's send 15 billion taxpayer dollars to Africa to fight a 100% preventable disease.

What deficit?????

touche.....
still, discretion is involved....
even when i buy foreign stuff, i try to make it at least allied. I have been looking at the labels for nearly a year now and it actually matters to me now...

If i'm gonna buy something made "over there" I'd rather my dollar go to a brit or aussie than red china.....
but thats just me..a hopeless romantic

LOL, I can only guess what that would smell like, but looking at the sour expressions on those two utterly clueless losers, it has to smell pretty bad :-)

It was already talked about.

God a problem with a President trying to get conservative social values instilled?

What amazes me is that Ted was shaking his head on the "No Child Left Behind" part...the bill he COMPLETELY wrote and got 99.9% of what he wanted.

Moral to the story? Don't try and please Dems, they can't be. And they will always want more.

You know, I have tried to be patient and conciliatory with your objections. However, Laz, the statement that you wouldn't vote for him on a bad bet is simply over the top.

Who are you going to vote for? Dean/Kerry/Kucinich/Edwards/Lieberman? Going to throw your vote away on a third party helping the Rats?

Do you not care that the War on Terror will be lost should a Rat prevail? Do you WANT to get permisssion from France to protect ourselves?

All because you don't like some spending, much of which will be tempered by the House?

I have set my priorities. National defense is always first. All else is secondary, and can be argued and refitted in times of peace.

I respectfully ask that you rethink what you are saying. I don't think you realize the ramifications.

Good idea. ;)

Her haggardness is suprising, given the post-Monica, pre-zipper-hoisted Senate seat 1999 "restoration."
