I think the Booing was the Republicans responding to Bush's saying "Unless you act--families will pay $300 more per child" etc.

The 'Pubbies are booing the possibliity that Congress won't act to make the tax cuts permanent.

The woman who looks like Aunt Bee sitting next to Hillary, is Michigan State Senator Debbie Stabenow. I think that she just got married to a 28 year old aide.

He finally got emotional and worked up over the veto power. He will veto anything that keeps him from implementing the largest and most costly social welfare plan in history.

Where was that veto pen when the campaign finance legislation crossed his desk?

My.

Crusty knew she was on camera and smiled!

That was utterly frightening.

There are tons of market/private incentives in these "government" solutions, aren't they?

I'm still highly skeptical about the "guest worker" thing

If it were done as proposed, i.e. allowing us to find and keep track of the current illegals, it would be the best of many bad solutions.

My concern is that it will morph (sp?) into some type of quasi amnesty program.
