L.A. Heads-Up: Radio Hosts Set to Take On City Sanctuary Order Today (RE: Illegal Aliens)
KFI Radio, 64.0, Los Angeles

Hey Southern California...
For those of you who listen to talk radio, John and Ken (KFI 64.0, 3-7 p.m.) are planning to launch a BIG attack today on the ridiculous "Special Order 40," which was pushed through by the Los Angeles city council back in the 1970's. This order prevents the police from questioning illegal alien gangbangers about their immigration status, even after they have already been deported previously for a crime.
John and Ken are incensed about this one, as we all should be. Sounds like they are gearing up to make dumping this travesty their next big cause. (Remember them on Davis's recall?) They are promising to go after the Mayor, the City Council, and the Police Chief, and the fun all starts today.
Bombs away, John and Ken!

For those who don't know, "Special Order 40" was a 1979 "directive" initiated by Darrel Gates (former Police Chief) that "prevents police from questioning people about their immigration status or informing the INS." This includes illegal alien gang members and those who have already been deported and have since returned to the U.S.
J & K winding up now to go after current Police Chief, William Bratton...
To: truthkeeper
John and Ken explain that NONE of the city council members, nor Mayor Hahn or the Police Chief, will come on the show to explain the "wisdom" of this policy. As a result, J & K are reaming them as only they can.
They have all the idiots' phone numbers and fax numbers posted on their website and are asking listeners to call their offices. Maybe some smart person can post a link? Thanks.

Here's hoping they give 'em the Bullhorn treatment. :)

This has been SOP (standard operating procedure) in Austin, Texas, even before 9/11, it still continues today.

This order prevents the police from questioning illegal alien gangbangers about their immigration status, even after they have already been deported previously for a crime. Even Bush has mentioned "otherwise lawabiding" illegals --- but this isn't about otherwise law-abiding types at all ---- they want every criminal --- not just trespasser but every violent criminal to be allowed to roam about as they please throughout this country.

This includes illegal alien gang members and those who have already been deported and have since returned to the U.S. A policy of deporting illegals arrested for any charge would be an incentive for them to try and keep their noses clean. It would also reduce city costs
But it would reduce the number of Dem voters, and we can't have that

"SPECIAL ORDER 40" Contact Mayor Hahn, Chief Bratton, and the Los Angeles City Council Members and let them know that Special Order 40 is a BAD IDEA! Special Order 40 bars police from enforcing federal immigration laws, and allows illegal alien gang members to terrorize our streets. James K. Hahn, Mayor of Los Angeles
