FINALLY somebody whacking back at PETA
The Center for Consumer Freedom ^

Outstanding! I saw some anti-PETA commercials on Fox News last night--hit the nail right on the head! This group (consumerfreedom.com) is circulating a petition to the IRS to revoke PETA's tax-exempt status! We all MUST go sign a petition...it only takes a couple seconds. The petition is at: http://www.consumerfreedom.com/petaPetition.cfm
If anyone saw the ad last night, you know how great it was. Kudos to Fox for running it--you never see ads like that.

Saw two ads last night. I had to look twice at the first one to be sure I heard it correctly. Great ads. It's about time!

What's wrong with People Eating Tasty Animals?
To: JoeyG
They've been around for about 2 years now, but these are the first television ads I've seen. I think I'll make another contribution.
To: JoeyG
I saw them and at first I thought I was dreaming. This couldnt be! Someone taking on PETA! Then there was another one about ten minutes later about the convicted PETA arsonist and his how-to-build-a-bomb website.
Its about time someone takes out the trash.

Signed. Here's some more interesting info on Peta I got on the same site:
7 Things You Didn't Know About PETA
1. PETA has stated repeatedly that their goal is "total animal liberation." This means no pets, no meat, no milk, no zoos, no circuses, no fishing, no leather, and no animal testing for lifesaving medicines.
2. PETA has given tens of thousands of dollars to convicted arsonists and other violent criminals.
3. PETA funds the misnamed Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, an animal-rights organization that presents itself as an unbiased source for nutritional information and has links to a violent animal-rights group called SHAC.
4. PETA has used their contributors tax-exempt donations to fund the North American Earth Liberation front, an FBI-certified domestic terrorist group responsible for fire bombs and death threats.
5 PETA regularly targets kids as early as elementary school with anti-meat and anti-milk propaganda.
6. PETA spends less than one percent of its $13 million budget actually caring for animals.
7. PETA has repeatedly attacked groups like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, for conducting animal testing to find cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases.

I think you forgot the most important thing.

Well, it's supposed to be things you didn't know about PETA, after all. They are based here in Norfolk and so we call them People Embarrassing the Tidewater Area.

PETA had better not come and mess with this Texan's BBQ. They would have a fit on Memorial Day, July Fourth and Labor Day around Lake Travis. The entire area smells of BBQ aroma. YUM!! YUM!!

I pledge $100 to PETA, if they go to Daytona bike week and throw red paint at everyone they see wearing leather.
Otherwise I'll have no choice but to accept them as weasly cowards and give them nothing.
To: HEY4QDEMS
I'll match that. That is one I have to see myself.

The PETA morons were protesting the Ringling Bros. Circus in town last night and the news story was that a bunch of school kids were heckling them.
