I can't last rememember when I had anything good to say about a liberal, but Jerry Nachman was a good guy. A good old fashioned real American fellow with values.

His loss is a big one for MSNBC, and for their viewers. Including me.

He appeared to have gone on a weight-loss diet during his absence last yr. Maybe he was sick..I had not heard that...we don't get MSNBC since we went to Comcast Basic. Really haven't missed it.

Just too bad. I had some dealings with him when he ran the NY Post, and he had a great nose for when there was a story there and when there wasn't. Much to the chagrin of my client, and the great delight of metropolitan New York.

And yes, he was just about the best thing MSNBC had going for it.
