On CNN, the Carnegie Institute for Peace had a program regarding the Iraq situation. Was the invasion necessary?
The institute, with a thorough investigation, found no compelling reason to invade - no WMD, no biological weapons, no long-range missiles. Now, Paul O'Neill, former U.S. treasurer under Bush, confirmed these allegations in his newly published book.
Bush and his cronies had planned to invade Iraq from the first days he stumbled into office. We all know that Saddam is a no-good SOB, but we should not have invaded. So far, the cost has been terrible. Almost 500 U.S. soldiers have died and thousands have been wounded, plus billions of dollars spent. And are we safer today? I think not!
Why was the terror alert raised to orange? The real terrorist is al-Qaida and Bin Laden. If you look around the world, you will find many evil dictatorships. Shall we invade them all?
This administration is evil. Evil to all except big business and the rich. Yet, they say that Bush has a plus-50-percent approval rating. Can it be that the people are so stupid that they would re-elect him? God help these poor souls, for they know not what they are doing.

Professional surrender monkeys abound.
I'll take my chances with the Bush man. I just wish he'd stop spending like a drunken sailor.

Send 'em to Washington, D.C. We have no guns allowed under any circumstance so it must be safe, eh?

My father once listened to a preacher who he thought was an idiot. He turned to me and shrugged. He said. "Oh well, we all go to Hell in our distinct manner."
I'll choose my road to perdition, Dax can select his as well. I find that drivel unworthy of further comment.

CNN, the Carnegie Institute for Peace, and Paul O'Neill. This fella certainly knows how to balance his sources of information.
Actually, there are some people who will believe anything if they see it in print or see it on TV.

It sounds like it was written by a 6th grader (and not a very bright one at that).
