Now this is sick, people. But should I be surprised?

I didn't think so.

The funny part is that the Dems are going to get scorched to the ground in the 2004 elections, regardless of all the mud that they sling at us.

"Bush bypasses Senate..."

Bush *tried* to get a Senate vote on his nominations, but the Dems wouldn't *let* him.

Who is printing it?

I got it off the CBS News website. I'm not sure who syndicates it in print.

I have something infinitely more disgusting than that. I remember almost throwing the monitor out the window.

Just a refresher for the libs:

Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution includes "The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session."

Their bitching has no legal standing.

I think the original idea was to fill positions which became vacant during what used to be a very long recess between sessions, but Presidents of both parties have filled positions in this way in recent years. Clinton did it to put Bill Lann Lee in place because he couldn't get confirmed. The Democrats and their media supporters have no grounds for complaint.
